Re: new truck means new projects sierra classic 3500

made a little more headway on the 4th. did a tune up to get a base line on routine service. plugs, wires, high temp boots on the plug wires, cap, rotor, air filter. I also cleaned out the mouse nest and mud dobbers on the TBI.

When chaining it down for the trip home. I noticed that the U-bolts were pretty shot. So i also pulled one to try and measure/ match up 4 new ones. of course in doing so it snapped and broke the rear brakeline....so new brake lines it is.

Does anyone have an idea on what fittings, line size, I would need? All the prebent kits are for 1/2 or 3/4 ton so it looks like I will be rolling my own. I also think I am going to go with stainless for the hopes of trouble free service for years to come.
