The hose thing is more about time. I work from home, but have a fairly time and mental energy draining job. As I get older, time is becoming more valuable than money to me. Taking time off work to go and get hoses crimped will end up costing me more of both than I'd like. But, in 100 degree heat, the final product becomes the most important part. I am building this one to be my "daily", so comfort is #1 here.
