Clarification.... I am talking about the single speaker in the middle of the dash. I bought a replacement from LMC, the Custom Autosound Dual. I took the dash off, cleaned up 35 years of gunk, and am now ready to install the speaker.

Here's the Question.... Does anyone know if the speaker drops in from above the dash or if you have to install from below the dash? Above = feels like natural fit but speaker protrudes a tad. From under, speaker does not protrude but the mounting bracket is not flush with the under dash
