I'd have to say that there are too many who subscribe to the school of radical hard chop on all too many vehicle. = Some guy a bit out of the loop wants to chop his AD truck and sees a bunch of photos of Rolling Bones coupes and Sedans posing at Bonneville so he decides he has to do a "hard chop" on his truck to make it radical.

I don't know what the chop is on Cole Porter's old Salinas Boy's truck that he drove for years on end before selling it to Jesse James. It looks right in that you really see the whole truck before you see the chop.


I agree 100% on the bulbous nose thing though and that often gets accented when guys remove the bullnose and fill the seam along with removing the emblem
