That sure was a cool truck as it was. That should be a 270, the last GMC-only I6, '41-'63. It's a torquey little motor motor with 4" stroke. Not sure of value. My guess is as much as any complete running old motor, $300-$500. I'd look at marketing to ATHS and ATCA members. That's American Truck Historical Society and Antique Truck Club of America. They both have magazines (Wheels Of Time & Double Clutch) as well as website with forums and classified ads free to members. You could see about a local chapter. Might be one nearby. Those have meetings and you could put the word out there.
