I see so many people get so hung up on finding out exactly what their engine came out of, make, model, hp rating, etc, when all that detail does not matter especially when it is going to be rebuilt.

Only reason i want to know what it came from is just for my own self interest. I know it doesn't actually matter but more interesting to know.
