Yeah, the R-Model with the 6-71 was running around back in the 80's. Even then I questioned if it was original or not. I would had guessed it was owner installed, but I never got a chance to talk to the driver.

I used to ride in a '70 R-700 with an 8V-71 and a 5 X 4 Trans. That was one heck of a truck. It had little short mufflers on the Dual Stacks and sure sounded sweet.
