I used the 79 C10 gear box. I had my hoses custom made. I took the stock astro van and original C10 hoses and had them cut off and had the braided PTFE hose put in so I could tuck them in a little better and work around the SAE and metric fittings. It wasn't cheap to have done, but like women....pretty isn't cheap. LOL

1971 C10 Stepside. LSx 6.0 with BTR Stage IV, Speed Engineering Headers, 4L80e transmission w/3200 Circle-D Stall. 3.73. Posi. Purchased this truck when I was 17. I started the rebuild (or take apart) in 1993. I have drug it around all over the country in pieces. Finally back on the road in 2021.
