I had roughed in the final version of the speaker boxes last weekend. Now its time to fine tune the fit and secure everything. Something to remember when building interior components is make sure to adjust your final tolerances to accomodate the material you plan to cover with. I had to adjust for the thickness of the vinyl to ensure a nice fit after its covered.
Although they may look a little rough, the boxes are square to the cab contours, and ready for final fill and sand. I mocked them up one last time then used wood glue to seal the boxes. All the screws are slighly countersunk and will be flushed before the box is covered.
