Dialing in the bellhousing is a little pain, but is worthwhile on a performance application.

Cheap feeler gauges can be cut to shim the bellhousing face parallel to crank and I like the Robbmc adjustable dowel pins. The Lakewoods are similar, but the Robbmc are 75% less money and work great.
