This exploded view from the LMC catalog may help. I'm sure there are better views out there. The cross sills lay on the truck frame, then the wood boards, then the bed sides on top of that. The 8 bed to frame mounting bolts go through the wood, cross sills then the frame. The rear sill #13 has locating brackets attached to locate the bed on the frame. The bed sides bolt through the outside wood floor boards. The other floor boards are held down with metal rub strips and bolts in between the boards. Brothers Trucks or Mar-K are good sources for bed information.
