Take a light rubbing compound & a cleaner wax combo (50/50) to the firewall. Those light scale/rust spots need hit individually w/a small rag (old gym sock is perfect) leave the nicer open area's alone 'till the rough stuff is done. T Return w/a fresh rag & wax it all. It will turn out nice. I'm a detailer & that is one one way to restore/preserve the OG.
