Excellent post I'm going to do mine soon as well.
I'm also thinking of adding carpet to the ceiling, a headliner I guess. I see you can buy them. Basically we are sitting in a tin can and sound just echos all around.
Has anyone added the headliner and did it help at all?

Many toys, not enough time to play!
My youngest son and I picked up a 69 Chevy C-10 on 1/7/22, this is my second 69, it was 10 years ago that I had my other one. So I’m back!!!
