Decided to go this route and filled an empty 5W30 quart container after buying a second full 5 quart jug. Have 4 remaining quarts in that jug so should be good to go for several oil changes.
No WIX filter available at my local parts house. Had to go to an alternative Microguard (?) brand filter? Counter guy said it is made by WIX but is there lower cost alternative? No idea about that, any comments there?
