Can't speak for a Blazer but I thought they had the same setup as a Truck.... unless what you have is an add-on AC (not factory)? With the movement of the control cable, I would think it could move back/forth on the power wire and over time cut into the wire's insulation.

They should be the same. Previous owner painted interior, so everything was removed at 1 point. Factory AC (missing lots of parts even though I was told "just the compressor") The cable is in a sheath so I don't think it would damage the wire but if I am changing the under dash and AC harness, I should do it correct.
