Ok, THAT is awesome! Playing out the rest of the truck in my head...How well are the more vertical areas going to play out? The Hood, Roof, tops of the Fenders ect. all should work very similar (which is where you will be wanting the drastic "wear-through" anyway) as the gate. Laying the Doors down but not the cab could lead to a "mis-match" in looks. Maybe a rotisorie to turn the cab? Did you let the Red-oxide dry before putting the salt on or was it still tacky?
