Install tip for the FCF brackets.... Run longer bolts up from the bottom of the cab to use as studs....or.....just use studs and nuts.

I did this as well with my FCF brackets.
I've had them in my truck for while and will be removing them next time I take the seat out and going back to stock height. I just don't like the feel of the pedals in particular the clutch with the seat dropped. probably not an issue on trucks with an automatic.
