If the gages were working I probably
wouldn't replace the senders.
First thing I would do is,
Pull that plastic guard off the front of the tank.
I have seen tanks that had so much crude
built up in behind that guard.
When I removed the crude the tank had a hole
rusted in it.
So I would suggest cleaning under that guard
to see if you will need a new tank.
It's probably ok (But) it just takes a minute to check.
