Thanks for the kind remarks. I put a lot of effort into the interior so I appreciate when someone notices.
The center piece seemed like the best work around because of all the angles and weird contours where everything converges. It was shaped with a steamer and glued into place, overlapping the raw edge of the main piece of carpet where it was cut to accommodate the hump in the firewall.
There are pictures in my build thread that illustrate how it was done, better than I can explain it.
