Top of radiator - 120 degrees
Top of Thermostat Housing - 191
Under the Thermo housing - 171
Head between first 2 exhaust ports driver side - 192
Front of head - 191
Block - 191
Temp Gauge reading (Lectric Limited sender for year model gauges):
So what do you think?
That all looks very acceptable. Head's will be the hottest so those areas @ the 190° range is good.

Building a small, high rpm engine with the perfect bore, stroke and rod ratio is very impressive.
It's like a highly skilled Morrocan sword fighter with a Damascus Steel Scimitar.....

Cubic inches is like Indiana Jones with a cheap pistol.
