Top of radiator - 120 degrees
Top of Thermostat Housing - 191
Under the Thermo housing - 171
Head between first 2 exhaust ports driver side - 192
Front of head - 191
Block - 191
Temp Gauge reading (Lectric Limited sender for year model
So what do you think?
Those temps look fine, if a person could maintain a temp of 190 degrees, that would be a good fuel burn and easy on the engine, key word is maintain.
Question, is that still an amp gauge, or has it been mod to a volt meter? With what I saw in your engine compartment, I would be using a 100 amp alternator at minimum, if that is an amp gauge, it won’t handle it well….
