I haven't posted in sometime, but I have some questions after searching the forum and the web that only this forum can probably answer.

I have a 402 rebuilt .30 over short block casting#3969854 two bolt main caps, that i got from CL a few years ago. It has dual front casting numbers 854/512. 3693512 being either 1969 - 427 or a 1970-76 - 454.

I'm going off Mortec's numbers, it has been machined so the deck numbers are gone.

I have heads that came off the engine I pulled from my 72 C20, it's stamped as a 3999290 block, but the heads are dual stamped too. 3999241 but has both 292/241.

6272292 are for 1970-78 - 402-454 so says mortec?

Both heads, block and intake manifold are cast from 1971.

Any info is greatly appreciated, thank you!
