Re: The Neverending Longhorn 11/01-current

Chapter 3 The Final Straw

After my Dad and I brought it home I was so discussed I put it in the 3rd bay of his shop and went home. I pulled it out about a month later and decided I couldn't count on anyone and I would just do it myself. I would at least get it to primer and see where I was at. While it was at the last guys shop they ground everything off the bed. The bed was straight but now is not. There were no issues with body work or rust on the bed but now its in pretty bad shape needing some serious TLC.

So I go to pull it out and find there is surface rust all over everything. The body work that had been finished under over all over the place. Subsequently I lost it.. I grabbed the 1/2 impact and unbolted the body. Rolled it off the frame onto the ground and called the scrap guy.
