the problem is the third seat is still in the way unless you restructure the floor to hide it.

my dad has had his burbs loaded up many times helping people move and it wouldn't have been possible without getting the seats completely out of the way ( flat 8 foot cargo floor).

the one stupid thing GM did was put in that honkin rear a/c unit. several times we couldn't haul something that fit through the rear hatch because it hit the @$#%& a/c box on the 87. guessing the 72 unit presents similar problems. now THAT is something that needs to be redesigned.
