Best Chocolate Cookies recipe:
In one bowl, with an electric mixer, beat 2 1/2 sticks real butter (softened), 2 eggs, 2 tsp vanilla, and 2 cups white granulated sugar until smooth & creamy. In another bowl, mix 2 cups all purpose flour, 3/4 cup cocoa powder, 1/2 tsp salt, 1 tsp baking soda until all combines. Mix dry ingredients with wet ingredients until it forms a big brownie type dough ball. *Sometimes I add chopped pecans*. Chill dough for about an hour, then make little walnut size balls out of the dough, roll in more white granulated sugar, & bake at 350 for about 8 minutes. Allow cookies to cool completely before removing from cookie sheet. Makes around 40 cookies.

They’re good!

Looks good. Copied and pasted to computer. I have a few Chocolate Waffle cookies to finish off first then I will try them.

Chocolate Waffle Cookies

¾ C. sugar
1 C. all purpose flour
½ C. butter or margarine, melted
4 ½ t. baking cocoa
2 eggs
1 t. vanilla

In a bowl, combine sugar, butter, eggs, and vanilla. Combine flour and cocoa; gradually add to sugar mixture. Drop tablespoonfuls of batter into each section of a preheated waffle iron. (Med High). ** I baked 2 ½ - 3 minutes, no longer. Remove carefully; cool on wire racks. Spread with powdered sugar frosting.
Yield: about 2 dozen

Frosting:

2 Cups Powdered Sugar
1 Tablespoon Kahlua (or 2)
Add Milk to get correct consistency if needed
(If you don't use the Kahlua add 1 teaspoon good vanilla)
