I just came across these LED tail / stop lights today .
They kind of look like Caddy Tail Lights .

They are 18" long 1.5" wide at the widest point and 3/4" tall .

They also have snap in covers at each end to hide the attaching screws .

The only rub is one would have to do a hidden latch for the tailgate and a counter sunk bolt at the bottom of the stake pocket because the stock chain and hasp set up would be in the way as is the bolt .
