I have a manual shut off in mine. It works fine. One valve is all you need in the system. If you stop the flow then there is no hot water coming through the heater core to heat up the cab.

After talking to tech support at Air Lift I have found out that the kit I need is 60811. Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.
