The front end is pretty simple, and if everything is in good shape, then there's not much to do. Except for the fenders, the forward section of the truck doesn't really see a lot of rust. But if you're looking for something, here's a few things I did to the 68 when I replaced the front grille.

- Cleaned up and painted radiator core support
- Replaced core support mounts
- Redid wiring and cleaned up turn signal assemblies. Replaced the lenses as well.
- Replaced sway bar bushings
- In your case you could polish and paint the grille, replace emblems and such.

Basically just clean, polish, paint and do general repairs and replace anything worn or damaged on all the stuff that's now easily accessible. Put it back to the way it came from the factory and it'll last you another couple of decades.
