That's pretty much what I had been thinking about.
I've not done a car audio system for 15 years, and a lot has changed. but 1500W for $80 is kind of wild. The fine print says that it is 100W RMS.
At one time Blaupunkt was owned by Bosch, but it seems like thier stuff is built in China these days. Lots of equipment out there with some big claims, so need to start my due dilegence
