Parts are on the way. Holley Commander 950 EFI, electric fan and controller, electronic advance distributor. I looked at a few used cars this past week and it just doesn't pencil out. I'd be buying something with >150k miles and once I figure in the extra insurance cost it would take a long time to pay down the cost of the car with the gas savings. The tipping point was realizing that the set of studded tires for my wife's tacoma (currently in OR) will fit the truck so I won't have to buy another set of rubber.
