Re: Need an education - 1967 GMC stepside
There were always 1t pickups (9') way back to the '30s. '72 was the last year. '68 was the first year for a Fleetside 1t, which Chevy called the Longhorn to help promote it. GMC never gave their C/3500 Wideside an official name that I know of. Some say they were called Custom Campers. Never looked into that, but seems odd they'd use a name already in use for another feature.
