If it's the whole cab, is it possible that they painted the whole cab white since it has a white roof? Like I said, I had seen it once before, but it sounds as if you're saying that it's typical. So I wonder if the whole thing is primed in black, and then the cabs with white roofs get painted white, and then the body color goes over that. I have square bodies that are painted the same color, but one is primed in white, the other one is primed in black, and the net effect is that they're actually different colors. Probably affects it more since they're yellow.
