Re: Project 85 C10

last night, chad and i installed long tube headers, flowmaster and 2.5" piping. the truck came with block huggers that we tried to install, but they hit the engine mounts, so a used set of longtubes that we picked up cheap became the header of choice. the exhuast we got was made for this model truck, but for a lwb, so modifications were necessary. also, this truck has a single exhaust transmission crossmember, so a little cutting and welding was in order. btw, it sounds awesome. im gonna load pics then add them here. i'll try to get some video of it running so you guys can hear how it sounds.

tonite, we took the rear sliding glass out only to find rust. took the wiper cowl off to prep, cleaned the inside of the truck, mixed some paint and sprayed the cowl. now we have decided that chad is going to sell the toyota, and buy this truck back from me, bc he is really excited about how the truck is coming along. sadly, more work has been done to this truck in the last week than the past 2 years. that being said, the paint scheme has changed a bit. the plans are as follows: hot rod satin black body, with gloss black wheels and bumpers. we are shaving the tail lights, and plan to incorporate some led tails in the rear bumper. we may also put some fogs in the front bumper.
