I'm not saying these are optimum.. I'm simply using the formula to show you what you need as a min to hold the vehicle at the height you want based on your weight and length of spring. Coil overs have an advantage of using a lighter spring and turning the adjuster up to get the height you want..

You can have too much stored energy and not have enough shock to control it. Some of this I will cover in the coming chapters.

What is the static height of the coil? IE what length spring can go in to it?
What is your leverage ratio? Using a coilover, I'm assuming this is not the stock location..
What will the springs height be at ride height?
Do you know your unsprung weight? I'm assuming none factory suspension with a coil over set up.
