Perusing Facebook marketplace for parts I found someone selling GMC fenders and hood for a good price. They need way less work than mine and will fit a GMC grill. Even have the fender badges but not the hood badge. This is a low angle hood front so I assume 67 or 68. Guess now I can watch for a grill.
You can see the paint underneath the dark gray looks to be the same orange or close to it. I kinda like the gray though....hmm.
