Yup, its the weight & the angle of the dangle messin with you...I do also agree with the clutch plate being a little 'off center". If you add the weight of the transfer case....yikes! I benched those old muncies, & iron saginaws, no issue.....if I had 2 good guys to lift a 400 turbo onto my chest, I benched that pig into place (one knee under the tail. & hit the pins).....one guy on ea side running bolts! Man I would not try it now, but @ 5 ft 9" , @ 220, I was a few yrs younger! Don't try to wrestle that big old trans, get some help....be safe. Longhorn
