Re: Powder Coating a stock Jack.

When I did my high lift jack I took it apart and sandblasted it. I wanted to make sure I had a clean base for the powder to stick to. I also heated the parts up before I coated them. Just to make sure the powder would adhere good. The reason I took it apart was so that any moving parts would not grind off the baked on powder coat.
