I would say yes, run one..you do need some bias from front to rear
I used one that came with the hydroboost that I bought new from POL
Even the disc disc ones they sell come with one..it has the trip spool valve in it
Make sure your master is for disc disc...I know they went back and forth from drum to disc rears for a few yrs back then..not sure what yrs are what..
I started to just go with a adjustable setup like wilwood sells, but opted to just use what I had
