Re: My 1970 GMC “Project Splice”

Well tonight kinda sucked. I feathered the filler back in around my cargo light hole and went to set the rivnuts. For some reason or another, the damn things went offset and crooked. One offset left but at least stayed straight to the panel. The other offset upwards and went crooked as well. I could not even get the screw into it all the way. There was no way the light was going fit properly or sit straight. So that was a bust, spent more time trying to remove them without damaging my filler than I did getting them in. Can't win em all. Hopefully tomorrow I can find some more and try again as I only had the two.
