The original pedal is in good shape so I guess I could still use it. I’d have to figure out a way to attach the throttle cable to it.

The top of pedal itself presses against a rod that goes thru the firewall which attached to the original throttle cable.

Not sure how I could get the old pedal to push or pull against the new throttle cable.
