AL 60-62 Factory Automatic Firewall Plug Wanted - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

Some of us are such "purists" we are willing to pick Nat Crap out of Pepper, so I might as well ask you guys to dig up one of these seemingly unimportant plastic firewall plugs for me. What you are seeing in the photos is a black plastic hole plug used on all factory automatic transmission equipped trucks from 1960-1962. It stops up the hole normally used for a Hydraulic clutch. I have no doubt these plugs are still made and used today but I don't know how to find the right one if so. Maybe one of you has already had to go down this road and knows a source? Otherwise, I am searching for one more of these plugs off a factory auto parts truck one of you might have sitting around.....Let me know?

Thank you - they do appear to have plugs like this but they are difficult to say what size these are without a micrometer handy so I will see what Andy comes up with first and then see about matching up to these modern ones ....Thanks
