Want to sell it - Nope I'm going to fix it up some - It's not going to happen.

This 68 Chevy BB402/CST 50th anniversary truck has been sitting for years … I stopped a couple times to ask if it was for sale … "nope" he said. I’m going to fix it up some day…
My guess he got it running without checking the brakes and took it out for a drive… and the brakes failed.
Sadly ... I don’t think he’s going to fix it up some day.

One big crumple zone! The inside of the cab appears intact hope the occupants are ok.

I looked inside the cabin ...no physical damge that I could see.

That is a great parts donor for a solid straight truck. Nothing more at this point..

Re: Want to see it - Nope I'm going to fix it up some - It's not going to happen.

when I bought my home 35 years ago, there was a guy that had property across the road with several older cars that he had owned.
Many times, over the years he was asked about selling.....wouldn't do it.
A few months ago he sold the property and dragged just about every one of them to his current residence.
One was a '64 Impala SS that had every factory option available, he actually drove it into the woods and parked it.
At one time they were worth restoring, now they're rotted out beyond it.
I was joking with him that, now he still going to let them rot out further, just in a different location.
Sadly, this is the story on a lot of vehicles, someday will never come for them

Damn that’s a hit. I bet the seat has a big rip from the pucker factor… not to mention the bent steering wheel from his teeth and forehead.

I can see the FB add now. One owner like new.

Rotted frame between cab and bed. Rear brake line rotted there, too

Re: Want to sell it - Nope I'm going to fix it up some - It's not going to happen.

I had a guy who worked for me who owned a 67 Chevelle he refused to sell. Someday he was going to fix it. That was 20 years ago. There's a tree growing through the engine compartment now.

It looks like the left front turn signal might still be good on that truck.

Looks like a cow strike at 60MPH.
Not sure who is crazier (no offense) the one who won't sell or the one who wants to by that scrap pile.

It would be good for parts ..

It has a 396 plus the transmission - maybe

And the gold interior color…

They'll have trouble getting the pinion angle right.

Wonder if the frame was already rotted when they hit the moose. Might explain how it got folded up

Who says these trucks ain't got crumple zones....?

AC brackets might be worth snatching if they're complete.

Wheels, instrument panel, tailgate, rear axle--assuming the pinion support didn't break.
