Should I be worried?

I bought some hard to find parts for my Plymouth off someone on another forum. The seller was very responsive. Until I paid for the parts. Then I didn't hear anything. I haven't heard anything since. Nothing. (crickets).

I paid with Paypal and I've had good luck with them on refunds in the past.

It's only been a few days but this person has always gotten right back to me before. Why the silence now?

I guess I'm just leery because I got ripped off on the puppy I bought. There never was a puppy. Just a cute picture of one. I got totally scammed. This seems familiar.

This is the second Corgi pup I bought her after the first disaster. This one actually existed. (My wife's Corgi passed and she was heartbroken) I had to drive to Nevada to get her. By the time all was said and done with gas and expenses and my wife lost $600 at the casino I had about $4000 bucks spent. Helluva lot of money for a dog. And she's a spoiled brat. But she makes my wife happy. She makes me happy. This is her getting her shots. She's not happy.

Nothing to worry about unless your wife is still at the casino.

Worry a little, maybe. Panic, not yet.
Are they still posting on the other forum? If yes, I would worry more. Otherwise, maybe a family crisis is causing the lack of communication.
Or it could be something as simple as a computer/phone that let the magic smoke escape.

Re: Should I be worried?

I filed a claim with Paypal for a refund today. This just doesn't pass the sniff test. I smell a rat. I'll see how that goes. Bummer.. I really wanted the parts.

Re: Should I be worried?

I finally heard from the guy asking me if I got the parts. Funny how that happened after I filed a claim.

I told him no and if they show up I'll reverse the claim and pay him. And what is the tracking number?

Haven't heard back.
