What does this wire go to?

I was under the hood, looking for the wire to go to my temperature sensor as the PO did a hack job with the wiring and didn't get any of the gauges working.

Anyways, I think I found the temperature wire, but I'm not sure. It's got 2 plugs and it's green.

Thanks

Re: What does this wire go to?

the temp sensor comes with different male plugs
PO may have added the different type with wire rather then change it?

Re: What does this wire go to?

I had the same wire on my 81 inline 250. One end was connected to a sensor on the thermostat houseing and the other was to a sensor on the side of the head. Drivers side.
