you New Mexico guys will get a kick out of this

So i pulled my og. bench seat out of my 67 and it had 3 build sheets on it. One was for a completely different truck but 2 of them were for mine.
Check out where it was originally delivered to......Tacos NM!!!!!
As you know im sure its supposed to be Taos
And....there was a 4th build sheet in perfect condition taped to the gas tank with a cardboard cover on it. Im gonna frame that one. Too much??

That's pretty funny... The only other thing it needed back there was some bullet shells and lottaburger wrappers to be a perfect NM truck. haha. Pretty cool find!

Nice finds Michael! That dealer is no longer there. Maybe some internet scrounging would turn up an old dealer emblem. You can see an newspaper ad for the dealer here: http://www.newspapers.com/newspage/17494849/

Small world my wife graduated from Aztec high school several years ago so Ive eaten at rubios a time or two my self. Durango is a nice place to live.

The fishing in the San Juan is decent but the local Elk and mule deer hunting are 100 times better.

I'll echo what was said about Blake's lottaburger It's like legal crack. I can't go more than a few days without it! I'm almost as crazy about it as I am classic chevy trucks!

I'll have to go there on my next visit. Have to say though, I'm skeptical it's better than El Modelo (sorry to hijack btw): http://www.elmodelomexicanfoods.com/

Less options makes for a cheaper restore! That build sheet is in darn good shape. As for your burrito, I just came in from the shop and had a frozen "El Monterey" bean & green chile burrito...................not really sure what I just ate.

Build sheets were supposed to be thrown away, but usually it was easier to just leave them where they lay and build the truck up around them.

Somebody was being lazy.

Well think about it. "taos", "tacos" probably sounded very similar to the salesman in Flint, MI who was taking the order over the phone. Hey, the order is coming from New Mexico, so the name of the town is probably "Tacos". right?! Just playing!

Blake's green chile cheese burgers and Posas green chile and cheese tamales. Hard to beat!

Surprised that there was no Al sup's chimi wrappers in there also. O what I would do for a Al sup's chimi right now.

Surprised GM didn't install a kilometer instrument cluster thinking it was off to Mexico. I was asked for a passport once when I was carded at a bar in DC and proffered my New Mexico drivers license.
