Wheel Box Manufacturer

I have just joined the forum and already have a question, sorry. Is anybody making factory rear wheel boxes for a 69 fleetside that are already widened to 17'' or so, or do I just make my own? I'm working on my 69 and installing a Duramax and 6 speed Allison. I also have two shortbed 72's with factory big blocks for those that may think I'm ruining a decent truck. I just wanted something different. Thanks.

Re: Wheel Box Manufacturer

Not sure on the wider wheelwell tubs. I have seen em made by joining two together.
As to "something different". My motto is this; "Your truck, do any d*mm thing you want to your truck". I also daily drive a 06 Duramax with an Allison. Would make an awesome donor. Maybe someday,,,,

Re: Wheel Box Manufacturer

That was what I was trying to avoid, but I can piece a couple together if I have to. My Dad bought this pickup new. It came with a 350 with a 400 turbo for $2820.00. They charged him the extra 20 for the cool factory spotlight.
