Where did you relocate your battery to?

Where did you put your battery? Can you share some pictures and/or insite? I really do not like the look in the stock position.

Behind driver's seat. I'm not overly happy with the location though. I bought a drop-down battery holder to mount to the frame but for some reason it doesn't fit. I need to revisit that idea.

Under the cab on the frame with a drop down box. Had to cut the clamp bolt down because it ran into the bottom of the cab. It can be a bit of a pain to service it so I keep a new battery in it. You will want to make sure you have a connection for a charger somewhere that’s easily accessible. I also put some heat shielding on my exhaust since it was so close.

Re: Where did you relocate your battery to?

I'm going to put mine behind the seat and use a battery intended for a 2000/2005 Cadillac Deville DTS. The battery is under the back seat of those and pretty low profile and is vented to the outside though tubes going though the floor.

Re: Where did you relocate your battery to?

On the frame on the passenger side, behind the cab mount. Used a 47-54 patch panel to put a removable door in front of the seat on the passenger side hidden under my floor mat.

I think I will look for a drop down option. I went thru the trouble of moving the tank out from behind the seats. Thx for the response everyone
