newbie in nor cal

Ive been a lurker on this site for a long time. I've always loved the 67-72 body style. i have looked for the right deal on one for the longest time, finally my body gave me the deal of a lifetime. Me and my friends are into rock crawlers he is into fullsize chevy rigs and I'm into Toyotas with HD running gear (hence the name). So he has a 73 i'll post a pic of that thing. long story short he ended up rolling it while out messing around. He purchased a 74 as a donor for the body. He asked if i would mind doing the swap for him, i said for the right price sure. literally next question he asked me was if i knew anyone interested in his dads 76 GMC. i said yea me. Then he asked if i would do the cab swap for the 76, and i said YUP!!!! And boom now i have 67 GMC 2wd 4speed.
I did some research on the vin and from what i found if I'm correct it was a 2wd, v6, 1/2 ton, 127" wheel base, wide side, built in fremont, and the gvw is under 6000 class. if anyone can see that anything i stated about the truck is wrong please let me know, i would love to how this thing came from the factory. i know the SBC in it might not be factory.
