Pics Thread:A Motor A Day
I dunno.Justa thought...
How about if anyone who wants to posts one motor picture a day and we`ll see what kinds of motors we can come up with:big/small,fast/slow/pretty/ugly.But,just one at a time and only once a day,ok? Here`s my 1st offering:

Re: Pics Thread:A Motor A Day
An internal combustion engine is also a motor... otherwise we would have enginesports instead of motorsports, or an enginecycle versesmotorcycle, and an outdated term of engine car as opposed to motor car.
I was lookin for a good caddy engine pic to put on this thread... but 68c15 beat me to it Last edited by Longhorn Man; 10-19-2008 at 10:12 PM. |

An engine is a mechanical device that produces some form of output from a given input. An engine whose purpose is to produce kinetic energy output from a fuel source is called a prime mover; alternatively, a motor is a device which produces kinetic energy from a preprocessed "fuel" (such as electricity, a flow of hydraulic fluid or compressed air).
