Re: Anti sway bar for 64.

I put a huge 1 1/4 inch one out of a mid 70s 3/4 ton truck in mine. Huge handling difference, had to drill 2 holes in each lower control arms and got new bushings... in the junk yards look for those with really thick front bars (CST models)

For the rear axle I don't have a clue what to do.....

Is a cst model the model of the truck? And did you have to drill holes in the frame, and how do I know where to drill the holes in the control arms?

Re: Anti sway bar for 64.

I bought the Bushings for a 1 1/4 inch sway bar from a Chevy truck store in Fresno (Early Classic Enterprises.... but they specialize in old chevy Pickups) The sway bar bushings are held to the frame with brackets and I think I did drill holes there ( new ones) too. Sorry been a while.
The late 70s through mid 80s truck have the large front bar...just look at them in the junkyards. They fit/function very well.
Again I wish I had a rear sway bay ...
